Skonewood is a non-profit organization that depends on donations and gifts from family, friends and guests to support our Campground maintenance and growth. Over the years, Skonewood has received donations in a variety of ways.  We mention them here for your consideration.

Giving Tuesday 2025

Skonewood exists to provide a beautiful, peaceful place for Christians to reconnect with family and God. This has been possible for over 40 years!  In 2026 we are looking to expand and modernize our ministries and services at Skonewood and surrounding community.  
Skonewood is 100% funded by valued guest like you and we need your help in reaching our financial goals for 2026!  Below are a list of projects that are scheduled to be completed next year.  Some are fun and others are simply necessary to keep Skonewood up and running safely! 

1. Campground WIFI
2. Primitive campsites
3. New swim raft
4. Wiring and electrical upgrades in the caretaker's home
5. Increase in liability insurance
6. New ministries and services

We are in the process of renovating and maintaining different structures and equipment at Skonewood. These ongoing projects have spanned over the past four years. We are pleased to announce that the chapel, cabins, rewiring, septic system, and WiFi installation have been successfully finished. However, we are seeking financial assistance to complete the remaining projects that include the Fellowship Hall, bathhouse, playground, beach area, and landscape. Deferred Trust:  We have received anonymous deferred gifts.  This form of giving can be arranged with an attorney through a trust agreement.
Will:  Another form of deferred giving is to designate a percent or specific amount for Skonewood in your will.
