Our online booking system has made it easier than ever to book your reservation!  Our campground has been known to be at capacity, so if you're looking to visit us book early!  If you are unable to pay the booking price, please call and make your reservation with the amount that you are able to give.  We want EVERYONE to experience the beauty of Skonewood!

The dream of Agnes and Art Skone was to provide an area and an atmosphere for Christians to reconnect to God and to others.  Camping is a great way to do both! We invite you to leave "life" behind and spend some time outdoors in nature and participate in all the activities Skonewood has to offer: walking trails & reading nooks, fishing & boating, fire pits & BBQ, playgrounds and swimming.  Skonewood is a beautiful, peaceful place to gain (or regain) the strength for the journey God has for you.

Guidelines... 

Skonewood is a non-profit Christian Retreat supported by donations and volunteers.  We welcome you to Skonewood and hope you enjoy your visit with us.  We encourage all visitors and campers to help support us with a donation and help us maintain Skonewood by following a few guidelines.

• Check out is by 11:00 p.m.
• Check in is after 3:00 p.m.
• Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. – no generators.
• Speed limit is 5 miles per hour.
• No bicycle riding down the path to the lake or through campsites.
• Clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash at all times. Max size leash is 8 ft.
• No fireworks except on the 4th of July on the shores of the lake.
• Hang up Life Jackets and return the boat oars.
• No jumping off boats or tipping them over.
• Use of fire pits for campfires required. 
• Firewood is provided for guests at $10/day. Firewood is to be used at Skonewood and not removed from the property.
• This is your home away from home and we respectively request that you treat it as your own and to respect the rights of others.
• Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited at Skonewood.

• Fish cleaning station next to multipurpose building.

• Dump station ($5.00 fee)
• Onsite firewood ($10/day fee)
• Water and electric at all 25 sites.
• Bathrooms and showers for campers.
• Cabin guest bathrooms and showers are located in the Fellowship Center.

• Kitchen for campers in all purpose building. This kitchen provides stoves and refrigerators to be used by campers.
• Outdoor pavilion
• Chapel that seats 12 people
