Linga Longa

We want you to linger a little longer at The Linga Longa! This cabin is furnished with a queen size bed and single bunk-beds which can sleep 4-5 people. It also consists of a kitchen with running water. This cabin is equipped with basic kitchen cookware, utensils and tableware.  All of our cabins have heating and cooling, so can be booked year round. No pets allowed in the cabin.

Haven of Rest

The Haven of Rest sleeps 2-4 people and has 1 queen bed and a twin hide-a-bed. It is equipped with a stove, oven, full sized fridge but has no running water inside; an outside water faucet is available however. Our cabins are equipped with basic kitchen cookware, utensils and tableware.  All of our cabins have heating and cooling, so can be booked year round. Haven of Rest is located near the lake. No pets allowed in the cabin.

The Refuge

The Refuge is our newest cabin that was dedicated the summer of 2020. This cabin has a queen sized bed and a double bunk which can sleep up to 6 people. These cabins are equipped with basic kitchen cookware, utensils and tableware; running water is located outside by the front step. All of our cabins have heating and cooling, so can be booked year round. It also has a beautiful, covered deck that overlooks the lake. No pets allowed in this cabin.

• Stove & refrigerator​

• Running water is located outside by the front step. ​

Guidelines... 

Skonewood is a non-profit Christian Retreat supported by donations and volunteers.  We welcome you to Skonewood and hope you enjoy your visit with us.  We encourage all visitors and campers to help support us with a donation and help us maintain Skonewood by following a few guidelines.

• Check out is by 12:00 p.m.
• Check in is after 3:00 p.m.
• Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. – no generators.
• Speed limit is 5 miles per hour.
• No bicycle riding down the path to the lake or through campsites.
• Clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash at all times. Max size leash is 8 ft.
• No fireworks except on the 4th of July on the shores of the lake.
• Hang up Life Jackets and return the boat oars.
• No jumping off boats or tipping them over.
• Use of fire pits for campfires required. These are located by the wood pile. The caretaker will deliver one to your site at your request. 
• Firewood – Please be careful how much firewood you use, or better yet help cut some. Firewood is to be used at Skonewood and not removed from the property.
• This is your home away from home and we respectively request that you treat it as your own and to respect the rights of others.
• Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited at Skonewood.

• Chapel that seats 12 people.
